Young Boss Bio

YOUNG BOSS The world has been shaken and New York has been taken under siege as Young Boss prepares to unveil his multi talents and change the way we look at Hip Hop forever. This child rap artist not only raps but sings and soaks every line with a sneak peek into his world as a young man of color growing up in the inner city. He has already scored a legion of young loyal fans who have fallen in love with his top single “Crush on you,” a catchy beat that reveals young love through tight lyrics. In another single “Get to Know Me” also written by Young Boss, who despite being only 12 years old writes all his own lyrics and has an active role in the production of his music, Young Boss proudly reps his hood in the Boogie Down Bronx.

Born Eddie Shomo, on August 6, 1999, in New York City, Young Boss grew up in a family that always embraced music whether it was oldies and soul to R&B and of course Hip Hop. Since the tender age of eight, Young Boss has exhibited great talent in music and an ear for free styling while riding the 4 train home. Young Boss is an extraordinary performer rapping about ordinary things that happen in a kid’s life. His songs grab you and bring you into is everyday life as he raps about shooting hoops, rocking his g-shock sneakers and beaded belts, or stunting on the pretty girls. Young Boss keeps it real and knows what’s important as he continues to remind his fans to stay in school, out of trouble, and always chasing after their dreams. Just as he is currently doing in and out of the studio. Young Boss has already performed at Patrick Henry Middle School for the students of The Harlem Center for Education and was also the featured entertainer of the 2012 Digi Text Award Ceremony at the Museo Del Barrio.

Young Boss is now preparing for a school tour that will be taking place in 2012, where he hopes to continue spreading his music and gaining fans on a larger scale. A future performance at the world famous Apollo Theater is also in the making for this young performer who is quickly leaving a dent in today’s Hip Hop world. Young Boss is a star waiting to explode and it is impossible to miss his melodic voice and electrically charged rap lyrics. When asked, what he would do with his first pay check as a big time rapper? Young Boss answered unlike any other twelve year old by admitting that he wanted to buy his mother a house. Now the question is, at the rate Young Boss is winning over hearts, how many houses would mom like?
